Author Talk Rescheduled - Jonathan King

Rockdale City Council Presents
A Talk by
Jonathan King introducing his book
Tall Ships and Tall Tales: a life of dancing with history

About the book
Climb aboard a square-rigged tall ship or jump into the saddle of a bucking brumby as Jonathan King recounts his hair-raising and breathtaking adventures in history: surviving shipwrecks in the Bermuda Triangle, losing men overboard in the south Atlantic, avoiding pirates in the South China Sea, being arrested by Spanish border guards and chased by Indian police, being tossed off horses in the Outback, getting thrown into a Lebanese prison, becoming lost in the Amazon jungle and being knocked over by a cyclone in Antarctica. These tall tales will leave you breathless, dazzled, and inspired by King’s persistence and sheer courage in bringing history to life.
