Summer Reading Club 2015 Wrap-Up

Well done to the 315 participants of Rockdale City Library Summer Reading Club. 


In total 3,208 books were read and we had great fun celebrating your achievements with you at our parties at the end of the holidays.

The national prize draw of three ipads is still outstanding. If you are a winner, you will be contacted by the State Library of Queensland in the next two weeks. Good luck!

yourtutor has extended their hours

Great news for students! Our popular homework help program is now available from 3pm-10pm Sundays to Fridays. Your tutor helps students from Years 4-12 and TAFE students with their homework and assignments. It's free for library members. All you need is a library card.

What Matters 2015 - Writing Competition for Year 5 -12 Students

What Matters? is a writing competition that gives Year 5 – 12 students in NSW and the ACT a chance to say what matters to them in society today.

How to enter
Write a 400-600 word opinion piece on what matters to you and why. Entries must be typed on A4 paper. Strictly one entry per student. All entries must be accompanied by a signed entry form. Entry forms are available from your teacher or can be downloaded below.
All entrants will receive a certificate of participation.

Entries close on 6 May
