Success At High School Parent Information Session 9 February 2016

It's just over a week until our Success at High School Parent Information Session. There are still places available.
This information session is aimed at parents of primary students in years 5 and 6.
No matter which high school your child will be going to, there are building blocks for their success.
Join experienced educators Julianne Beek, Darren Galea, Mark Marciniak and James Nobbs to hear about how high schools work, how to support your child's study and organisational skills and what the adminstrative processes are.
Our speakers have a wealth of information to offer through their various roles as Principals and Assistant Principals at Public and Selective High Schools, Primary Schools and in international education consultancy.
You are also able to hear from student speakers who will tell you first hand of their transition to high school and there are ample opportunities to ask questions.
Supported by the information provided, you will be able to navigate the upcoming high school open days and help your child to succeed at high school.
Light refreshments will be served.

The Woman Who Stole My Life by Marian Keyes

Technically Marian Keyes writes chick lit but what sets her apart from other chick lit writers is her brilliant Irish wit and warmth and the fact that there is often a serious thread in her stories.

You can reserve The Woman Who Stole My Life and view other books by Marian Keyes in the catalogue at http://library.rockdale.nsw.gov.au/OPAC/ExtSearch.aspx?Access=1&Query=Keyes%2c+Marian.+
