Rockdale Readers meeting Friday 20 June

The Rockdale Readers book club will be meeting this Friday 2o June at 5.30 pm. We will be discussing Carpentaria by Alexis Wright. Carpentaria won the Miles Franklin Award in 2007.

We had an interesting discussion at our last meeting on the 16 May about The thirteenth tale by Diane Setterfield. The main discussion centred around notions of truth and how lack of truth affects identity.

If you have read Carpentaria, feel free to come along.
If you would like more information or are interested in joining either of our bookclubs please call Natalie on 9562 1821
