1st Wednesday Book Group - I am Legend

The next meeting of the 1st Wednesday Book Group is on 5 October 2011. The group will be discussing I am Legend by Richard Matheson.

Public Holiday Closure - October Long Weekend

Rockdale Library and the branches at Arncliffe, Bexley, Bexley North and Sans Souci will be closed on Monday 3 October 2011 for the Labor Day Long Weekend.

Usual opening hours will resume on Tuesday 4 October 2011.

School Holiday Activities - September/October 2011 School Holidays

Please join us at Rockdale City Library for our September School Holiday Activities Program.

There are exciting Spring themed arts and craft activities on at our branches at Arncliffe, Bexley, Bexley North, Rockdale and Sans Souci.

The activities are for primary aged children and bookings are essential. Art and craft activities can be messy, so children should wear appropriate clothing. Parental supervision is required.

1940s footage of Rockdale Council

We discovered a film promoting living in the Rockdale area in the 1940s and have made it available online as part of our local history digitisation project.
