Baby Rhymetime, Toddlertime and Storytime will take a break this week during Children's Book Week from 24 to 28 August 2015.
All library branches are hosting visits from local schools and pre-schools to celebrate Book Week. To accommodate the large number of visitors, our Baby Rhymetime, Toddlertime and Storytime programs will take a short Book Week break. Please check the attached flyer for dates. Thank you for your understanding.

Tragedy: The sad ballad of the Gibb brothers

This is the story of the Gibb brothers’ incredible careers and an examination of the Gibb ‘curse’, an all-too-human look at the rollercoaster ride of fame.

Despite several rebirths in a career that spanned many decades, it seemed that tragedy followed the Gibbs like a curse. For every incredible career high there was a hefty personal downside: divorce, drunkenness and death seemed as synonymous with the Gibbs as falsetto harmonies, flares and multi-platinum record sales.
