The State Library of NSW is running a competition to boost the digitisation of subdivision maps of suburbs in Sydney. The competition runs between 6 January 2015 to 17 February 2015. The most tweeted suburb will be the next to be digitized.

There are only three more days to go in the Summer Reading Club for preschoolers, primary school students and teens.

All reading logs must be handed in before or on 9 January to receive a prize. Any reading logs handed in after 9 January won't be accepted. Anyone who reads 5 books qualifies for a prize pack.

We are running three clubs this year, one for preschoolers, one for primary school students and one for teens.

Australia Day Public Holiday Closure - Monday 26 January 2015

Arncliffe, Bexley, Bexley North, Brighton Le Sands, Rockdale and Sans Souci libraries will be closed on Monday 26 January 2014 due to the Australia Day public holiday.

Usual opening hours will resume on Tuesday 27 January 2014. 

Rockdale Library will remain closed while the new library is under construction.
